When I was in Shanghai in 1996, I was standing in a place similar to Jeff, overlooking the new glitsy island and towers. Except in 1996, it was just a slum an none of those building were there.

Wow I just realized the I can click on the pictures to enlarge them. The fountain picture has phenominal lighting in the enlarged picture which I didn't see in the thumbnail. Makes me want to go back and review all your photos in the enlarged view.
