So, I leave for the airport in 45 minutes and as I look around my apartment (which looks as though it were hit by the eye of a hurricane) I rack my brain to make sure I have everything I need.

I have the essentials...passport, visas, and money.

My bags are packed and I heeded the advice of "take half the clothes and twice the cash". (The red bag is packed with things for Julie and Richard in Hanoi...mine is the blue one!)

I put a change of clothes in my day bag cause it 91 degrees in Hanoi now (at 1am local tme) and will want those shorts right away.

My mp3 player is loaded, camera is emptied, and the batteries are charged.

There must be something I am forgetting...I am far too calm right now. I am sure it wil hit me on the way to the airport.
